Caesars Racebook Launches in Florida and Ohio Bringing NYRA Bets to New Audiences

A new mobile application for enthusiasts of equestrian competitions has been introduced by Caesars Entertainment in the Sunshine State and Buckeye State. The application, dubbed Caesars Racebook, is the product of a collaboration with the New York Racing Association, often abbreviated as NYRA.

At its core, the app utilizes NYRA Bets, the existing digital wagering system developed by the NYRA. Rest assured, however, physical presence in New York is not a prerequisite for its use! Individuals located in Florida and Ohio can readily download the application onto their iPhones and iPads at this time.

The app facilitates what are commonly referred to as “pari-mutuel” wagers, which essentially entails placing bets against fellow participants rather than the establishment itself. Users will have the opportunity to wager on races hosted at over 250 tracks globally. This encompasses renowned venues such as Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course, and Santa Anita Park, in addition to Caesars’ own facilities like Indiana Grand Race Course and Harrah’s Philadelphia.

Matt Feig, the individual at the helm of NYRA Bets, expressed considerable enthusiasm regarding the partnership, stating that it will extend the reach of world-class horse racing to a broader demographic. Caesars, too, appears pleased with the development, having already indicated their intention to expand the app’s availability to additional states in the near future.

These developments follow a broader partnership announcement made by Caesars and NYRA in January. Caesars has assumed the mantle of “Official Sports Betting Marketing Partner” in New York, a rather verbose title that essentially grants them promotional rights for their brand at all major races. Furthermore, they hold the title sponsorship of the Belmont Stakes and Saratoga meet. It’s quite evident that they are heavily invested in the realm of horse racing these days.

This is a major victory for our team! We are introducing a completely new realm of wagering possibilities for our clientele, and the live racing element is revolutionary,” stated Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Caesars Digital, regarding the debut of Caesars Racebook.

He continued, “We are eager to embrace both seasoned veterans and newcomers to the thrilling sport of horse racing. Collaborating with the New York Racing Association, our objective is to establish Caesars Racebook as the premier destination for enthusiasts nationwide and expand the sport we all cherish. We have ambitious goals to introduce this to approximately 30 states!”
