Aimia Appoints Robin Chhabra as Chief Corporate Development Officer

A prominent player in the online gaming industry, Aimia, has named Robin Chhabra as its new Chief Corporate Development Officer. Chhabra possesses extensive experience, having formerly held the position of Group Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at William Hill.

Reporting directly to Aimia’s CEO, Rafi Ashkenazi, in this capacity, Chhabra will lead the company’s corporate development initiatives. His background boasts expertise in finance, consulting, and auditing, cultivated over ten years at prominent firms. His gaming industry journey commenced in 2006 at Inspired Gaming Group, followed by a successful tenure at William Hill, where he assumed pivotal roles starting in 2010.

Ashkenazi conveyed his faith in Chhabra, emphasizing that his industry insights and network will be crucial to Aimia’s strategic objectives and expansion. He also lauded Chhabra’s standing as a well-regarded figure in the sector and extended a warm welcome to the team.

Chhabra, in turn, expressed his excitement, commending Aimia’s leadership and eagerness to contribute to the company’s ongoing achievements. He highlighted his established rapport with the management team and his anticipation of working alongside them.

Following a brief hiatus after his time at William Hill, Chhabra is slated to formally step into his new position in September 2017.
